Biomechanical Offloading & Compartment Correction

The Niki OA Offloading Knee Brace is an orthopedic precision orthosis designed for targeted pressure reduction in unicompartmental gonarthrosis. Using the 3-point offloading principle, the brace shifts the load axis away from the affected compartment (medial or lateral), thereby minimizing cartilage wear in bone-on-bone arthritis. This stabilizes the joint and supports postoperative rehabilitation as well as conservative therapy for meniscus lesions.

Technical Features & Orthopedic Specifications

• Varus/Valgus Correction System: The integrated joint module allows for individual adjustment of the alignment medially or laterally. The vertical stabilization struts prevent lateral instabilities and axial misalignments.
• ROM Control (Range of Motion): The orthosis is equipped with adjustable flexion and extension stops. This allows for controlled limitation of the range of motion to prevent hypertonicity or hyperextension during the healing phase.
• Material Composition: The supporting frame is made of an ultra-lightweight propylene polymer construction with stabilizers made of lightweight metal and stainless steel rivets. The padding is made of medical foam to prevent pressure points. The entire product is 100% latex-free.
• Ergonomics & Adhesion: The low-profile design allows for wearing under clothing. Integrated anti-slip elements on the inside ensure the positional stability of the 14.5-inch high orthosis during physical activity.

Attach the straps in the numbered order (1-4). The orthosis is hand washable (remove inserts beforehand). Hinge joints should be maintained with a dry lubricant after contact with water. Note: Please select the correct side (Left or Right) when ordering.
