The Niki Health Smartwatch integrates medical measurement technology into a compact wearable. The system uses high-end biosensors from Maxim and OSRAM to capture cardiological parameters of clinical relevance. The centerpiece is the EKG function, which operates at a sampling rate of 512 Hz to accurately detect I-lead signals and generate a detailed report within 30 seconds.

Integrated Sensor Technology & AI Analysis

• Multichannel Optics: The device uses a 7-channel light path design with 6 LED light sources and 3 electrodes. This architecture allows for the extraction of vital data from various skin layers to increase data validity while reducing artifacts.
• AI-Powered Screening: The AI algorithms can identify up to 32 types of EKG anomalies, including atrial flutter, sinus bradycardia, and myocardial ischemia. Reports can be exported via the Hband app and used for specialist consultations.
• Advanced Optics: An integrated Fresnel lens focuses scattered light and optimizes light penetration, significantly enhancing the accuracy of optical pulse and blood pressure measurements.
• Night Monitoring & Apnea Detection: The infrared spectroscopy module continuously monitors blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). In case of signs of hypoxia or breathing pauses during sleep, the device activates a vibration alert.
